We have a Sony model here now to test, but it doe not show any similar problem. Nissin don't use exactly the same protocols as the original maker. I guess this kind of conflict can happen, just as it can with third party lenses. The error you describe more often happens with lenses. Hope you have solved the problem Gary. I bought a Nissin Di466 and i have a Canon 1000D. After several shots the entire system hang. My camera keeps on blinking and cannot take a shot. I have to remove the battery of my canon and after putting it back, I could use my camera again but will experience the same problem after several shots. You can't use a hotshoe to PC lead with it eather as the centrepin with the outside terminal do not trigger the flash. This means it can't be used with a radio slave receiver. That's a real disappointment. I spoke to Kenro about it and they couldn't work it out either. So, potential buyers, be aware of this.
